Our family has been producing concrete batching plants since 1964 and we are the leading Australian supplier. CMQ is one of the few companies world wide that designs, fabricates, installs and commissions concrete batching, mining, quarrying and asphalt plants. We also offer a full range of new equipment, used equipment, spare parts, service and plant upgrades.

While our head office and workshops are located in Brisbane, we also have manufacturing facilities in China.
John Rea
Managing Director
John has been involved in the concrete industry for more than 50 years; designing, fabricating and commissioning concrete batching, precast, blending and quarry plants. He has also had hands on experience owning and operating his own batch plant. In recent times he has extended his expertise into asphalt, backfill paste and shotcrete plants.
Ken Lockyer
Workshop Manager
Ken first gained experience as a Boilermaker manufacturing concrete batching plants, crushing and quarrying equipment. His experience then broadened to include coal washing plants and materials handling equipment. Ken has had vast experience as workshop, production and procurement manager.
Eddie Buhler & Scott Doyle
Design Draftsmen
Both draftsmen have vast experience in the industry, having studied Mechanical Engineering before moving to design and detail drafting of equipment ranging from materials handling equipment, concrete batching, blending and asphalt plants and quarrying and mining equipment.
Paul Choppin
Project Manager and Estimator
Paul commenced work as a Fitter Turner Machinist before moving into mechanical design drafting in the manufacturing and materials handling industry. For the past 25 years Paul has been involved in tendering, quality assurance and project management of National and International projects.
Tony Hollier
Site Manager
A Fitter and Turner by trade with an advanced riggers and boom ticket, Tony is experienced in supervising the erection, mechanical installation and maintenance of plants. His expertise is also in the high level of safety required to complete projects injury free as well as completing all statutory reporting requirements.
